A recent study showed that one-in-four cell phone users now gets their news via their smart phone personal tech device. What do they surf the most? Sports scores, stock prices, business news, and the weather – and it turns out the weather wins. The weather is the most surfed item on internet enabled 3G and 4G smart phones. This research report comes at a time when ABC is laying off some 400 people in its news division. CBS as you may have heard has laid-off 70 people in the last quarter.

This is big in the Business Financial News, mostly because it hugely affects their bottom line, but also because the smart phone sector is on-fire right now with the new Google Android and Apple iPhone. Is Your Cell Phone Dirtier Than A Toilet Seat?

According to a recent study by the University of Arizona, there’s a very good chance it is.

The research study found that cell phones harbor more germs than any other item used on a regular basis. Everyday items tested by Professor Charles Gerba, an environmental microbiologist, included; keyboards, desktops, and other office items.
