December 3rd, 2011

Many leading brands like Nokia, Samsung, Sony, Motorola, Blackberry, HTC, LG etc. have recently released their latest mobile phones in UK market. Due to massive competition in between top brands, consumers are in great confusion to choose best phone among all. Every gadget comes with latest features, fantastic design and multi media applications. But competition always brings good news for users, now companies offer advance widgets with free gifts, various schemes and discount. Even few latest widgets have broken the record of previous sales and conquering the UK market completely. They are alluring more and more consumers.

Companies are introducing latest phones after a particular research. They have divided the cell phones in many categories, and now they are producing them according to age group, social group, requirement, gender, occupation etc. Pink mobile phone is the biggest example of gender category; this electronic device has been introduced only for female users. Few mobile features and applications have become very common, and you can find them in all latest widgets like GPRS, FM radio, USB, color screen, class 32 EDGE and many more. Manufacturers are also providing two memory options, inbuilt memory and expendable memory card.

Latest mobile phones come with all advance applications which are very useful for all people. They satisfy communication needs, social needs and entertainment needs. These latest gadgets have stopped the sales of digital cameras, music players, iPods, 3D video games etc. Users can not purchase the separate device for every need, as it costs them a lot. Instead of buying separate device, they prefer to buy a mobile phone which helps them to communicate and entertain. Cell phones have become the necessity of everyone.

Recycle or Sell Your Old Mobile Phone

November 22nd, 2011

We live in a world where technology is always updating. It’s updating faster than we update our electronic devices. We live a throw away society. You get a new computer, out with the old. You get a new plasma TV, out with the old. Cell phones are no exception. People upgrade every day from flip to smart phones and purchase new ones because their contract is up. The question is what do you do with a perfectly good one that you aren’t going to use anymore?

There are a few options to consider. One option is the “sell mobile phone for cash” option. There are many companies out there willing to pay for old models. The sell mobile phone for cash option is very easy to do. In most cases the company you are selling your phone to will send you a pre-addressed, prepaid envelope. You simply drop it in the envelope and mail it off. In a few days or weeks, depending on the company, your check will arrive from the company paying you for your phone. Most companies don’t require perfect phones, some even buy broken cell phones. The second option is the “recycle mobile phone” option. Mobile phone recycling is becoming very popular. Not every cell phone is in demand to be purchased used. You can still donate your phone to be recycled so it’s not lying around a junk drawer or filling up a landfill. The company you decide to use will send you a prepaid, pre-addressed envelope to them and you simply mail the phone. Companies usually do one of two things with them. They may use them for parts to refurbish or may use them to donate to a charitable organization.

Many recycled cell phones end up as phones for emergency use by battered women, people with life threatening illnesses or the elderly. The phones are programmed to call emergency phone numbers only, for people that need the emergency services a cell phone provides but may not be able to afford an actual cell phone plan or phone. Selling or recycling an old cell phone is easy for you and good for the environment. It may put some extra cash in your pocket or give you a good feeling for helping out someone less fortunate than you!

T1 TV Phone Versus CECT I9 – Which of These Popular IPhone Clones Would Work Better For You?

November 18th, 2011

If you hold the CECT i9 and the T1 side by side, they look very similar (in fact, the T1 phone is often called “the i9 with TV.” Both are based on and look almost exactly like the iPhone, but there are some key differences (and in my opinion improvements) that are stand outs. I’ll go over these things in the following article and will also compare some of the features.

Analog TV and The T1: The main place where these phones differ is that the T1 has analog TV and the i9 doesn’t. The phone has an antennae that pulls out when you want to use the television. There is no additional cost, software or monthly fee for this. The antennae picks up local station’s signals. Of course, you won’t get cable, but you can pick up local channels (news, sports, sitcoms, etc.) and if you want to want to watch cable shows or movies, you can typically do that on line with the phone’s web browser and you can watch MP4 movies on the built in movie player (The 9 allows this as well, just not the analog television.)

Shake And Tilt: One thing that a lot of people love about the 9 is that it has the swing to the music or shake and tilt feature. This allows you to advance your songs, movies, wallpapers, etc. by sort of flicking your wrist or shaking the phone. Most T models do not have this, so if this feature is a must have for you, then the 9 may be a more reasonable choice.

Java: The i9 has Java and this is a huge selling point of it. The original P168 iClone was a huge seller, but it didn’t include Java which didn’t allow for all of those cool third party downloads like Mobile Office (PowerPoint, Word, etc.). There are some T1s that don’t include Java. However, some do so just read the description to make sure. Not having Java is not a deal breaker for everyone as most people who are interested in this phone really want it for the TV.

What They Both Have: Despite the differences that I’ve just pointed out, both of these phones function quite similarly. They’re both loaded with features. Both have the large 3.2 inch touch screens that have the menu flow control. Both are quad bands and both have dual sim slots which allows you to have two phone numbers, networks, or plans. (Many people will have one cheap talk plan in one slot and another pre paid data plan sim in the other. This saves a lot of money on monthly contracts.)

Both phones allow web browsing (opera mini is popular on these phones.) Both have email and SMS / MMS. Both have MP3 / MP4, digital camera / web cams, FM radios, and ebook readers. There are also tools like calendars, to do list, currency converters, Bluetooth, etc. The battery life on both is very good. There are USB cords to transfer data and each can hold up to 8GB of memory.

So, Which Is Better?: That depends on which phone’s features work out being better for you. If you are dead set on real time TV, then the T1 is an obvious choice. But, if the TV isn’t absolutely necessary and want Java or shake and tilt, the best selling i9 may fir the bill.
